Raging, mighty wind blowing from the south, with 40 mph gusts left Race Officer Philip Dalby no other choice than to abandon for the day. He and his assistant Graham worked consistently making boats and the club safe. Graham made many journeys with the chain ferry picking up loyal members coming along for lunch. This was served by George and me and we were delighted to see all the 60 sausages consumed. Bar was by Philip Dalby and there was a turn out of about 25 people.
We were reminded of the Dinner and Dance next Saturday 30th November at 1845 and the AGM on Sunday 1st December after sailing.

Before the wind, some had snow and one or two went windsurfing in Poole Harbour......Ben, not me!
