Working Parties: 2020

In line with the Club ethos of a DIY approach to maintenance and improvement work where possible. The following is what we are intending to achieve at the winter working parties with your help at winter:

Clubhouse:
Decorated clubhouse where necessary

Clean and refurbish the clubhouse with the likes of new window blinds and restoration of rotting timber.

Outside:
Replace fendering to pontoons

New duck fences

Repair areas of subsidence

Clean and repair boats and chain ferry

Church Land:
Attention to making better use of the shed, canoe rack and launching slipway

Thank you to all those members who helped clear the debris left after the floods both from the decking and in the river trapped under the club house.

A few pictures showing the clear up. We look forward to seeing as many members as possible at the next working party on the 26 January.

Thank you for all your help – John Hollands and Richard Cass
