Walk in Surrey Hills and Lunch at Denbies
Hampton Sailing Club made the most of an unusually sunny day on Sunday 1 March and struck out in the Surrey Hills. A group of intrepid walkers braved the muddy paths and did a circular walk taking in a coffee at Polesden Lacey. Those with shorter legs went on a shorter circular walk armed with a questionnaire to encourage them to make the most of the beautiful environment. All met back at Denbies for a well-earned lunch in the cafetaria. It was a great turn out – here’s hoping that as many turn out on the water once the sailing season starts again!
