On Saturday 3rd September, David Gettings our Hon. Sailing Secretary in his Solo led our team Ian and Ben, Jane with Sophie and me with Michaela, in Enterprises, to a victory at Desborough SC to win the Mid Thames Trophy which we lost last year. There were teams from the home club, Aquarius and Staines with 15 varied boats out on rather restricted waters. With some gusty conditions all our fleet stayed upright and survived the packed starting lines, the races were all sailed in a competitive but good humoured way.We have the honour of hosting the event in 2017.
