Saturday 7th October was accolade night for our Ladies and especially Deirdre. The Club was decorated like a Caribbean Beach with palm trees and white sand surround drops and even tropical fish floating over-head. There was a shack bar with the prominence of rum and a fair barmaid (not Richard!). This all was presided over by two gangsta style rasta’s who beneath all the plaits looked a bit like John and Kevin! Sounds of reggae drifted in the background. Terrific amount of thought and work produced an astonishingly good evening just hope our beloveds liked the jerk, curry, goat etc and the stumbling waiter service.
