Individual class racing is organised for GP14's, Merlin Rockets,
Enterprises and handicap boats,(which currently include; Mirror, Comet, Solo, Kinsman, Byte, Heron).

Race management is conducted by a team comprisng a Duty Officer, an Assistant Duty Officer and Timekeepers. Responsibilities include setting courses, laying marks, starting, scoring and calculating results. If a race protest is lodged it is the Duty Officer's responsibility to arrange a protest meeting.

Safety is paramount on race days and two patrol boats are available. Duty Officers and assitants are required to handle the boats in a competant manner and to this end, informal instruction in race management, boathandling and safety is included in our programme.
